‘The Spirit of the Lord is on me,

because he has anointed me

to preach good news to the poor.

He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners

and recovery of sight for the blind,

to release the oppressed,

At St James the Less, we seek to help each other find freedom in Christ through prayer ministry, as part of or after our Sunday services. Our team is trained and authorised by the leadership of the church to pray for those seeking Christ’s healing or guidance, by praying with them in the power of the Holy Spirit; this is a time for listening to God, rather than a time for counselling.
