Welcome to our church life pages. As you might be able to tell from our current motto, 'Mind the Gap!', we are currently in an interregnum; we're waiting and looking toward to a new leader at SJTL. This is an exciting time for us, as we try to 'go deeper' as a church - giving everything up to God, and seeing what happens (and there's plenty happening!)

NEW ROTAS are on our rota page, so if your on a rota do go to the rotas page and see when your next on!
Art of church: Saturday 20th February 11-4pm with a lunch break. St James the Less artists, Olly Mezger, Cathy Hart and Esther Broughton will lead us in creative explorations of our liturgy. Through the day we will make full use of the incredible heritage of our church, seeking to use mind, body and soul in our worship of God. No artistic experience or skill necessary! Ash Wednesday, 17th February: This year we have been invited to join St Saviours for their service at 7pm. St Saviour Church is on Lupus Street (near pimlico tube station). For more information please see St saviour's website.
Friday reflections on the cross: these will be held throughout Lent and last approximately 45 minutes, starting at 7pm. The first reflection on Friday 19 February will be held at St Gabriel’s church, 30 Warwick Square, led by Father Luke Irvine-Capel. The reflection on 26 February will be at Holy Apostles church on Winchester Street (between Warwick Way and Lupus Street) and the third reflection, on 5 March, will again be at St Gabriel’s.
Lent sermon series: many thanks to Esther Broughton and Chris & Sarah Simpson, who have created a Lent sermon series on Wisdom from the Wilderness. Many of our visiting preachers have already agreed to use this theme, so watch out for some exciting sermons that seek out and explore the wisdom we can learn during this period of waiting.
Revive prayers: The next revive meeting on 10 March will be our quarterly meeting, therefore all homegroups will be cancelled that week as we gather together as a church body to pray.
The Grid: we'd love some more helpers to run The Grid, our Sunday youth group for 11-13 year olds. Please contact Jude if you'd like to help.
Save the date – SJtL church holiday 2010: it’s many months away but please put 19-22nd August in your diaries. Details to follow!
Interregnum FAQs - Following from our question and answer evening back in October 2009, and questions from the congregation since, the Churchwardens and Treasurer have compiled a series of 'Interregnum FAQs'.copies will be available at the back of church. Please do email Elaine and Esther if you have any further questions at
